A recently concluded five-year census found 765 grizzlies in northwestern Montana, more than three times the number of bears as when it was listed as a threatened species in 1975. To the south lies a swath of federally protected wilderness much larger than Yellowstone, where the habitat is good, and there are no known grizzlies. They were wiped out 50 years ago to protect sheep.

Global warming is producing significant change on earth. It slowly kills every living thing, as it changes range from the balding mountains to the gradual loss of wildlife populace.

As I was looking for a topic (environmental issue of course), I was alarmed by the facts being presented by a certain Science Editor with his report entitled How Humans Are Putting Planet In Peril.

Its a very informative article as it presents significant facts about the real condition of earth.
But, knowing it would gradually kill us all, I paused! And again started to think of my children, and their future! What kind of environment would they live ten or twenty years from now? Will they survive from the threats of nature?

Well for me, its the terrains and mountains! The cliffs! the landscapes of natures! That is for me the face of the earth.

Just like a human face, earth's face needs to be maintained. It needs to be nurtured so to maintain its beauty. Now, if you would not mind to care our mountains, as you dis to your face, well, naturally the earth will look ugly!

Let The Birds Freely Fly!

Birds are the freest living creatures on earth. I mean, that was before! today, they are gradually out of sight! They are not totally free!

Reminiscing my childhood, I was fun of seeing birds freely and playfully playing at the Salmon sky, especially during times when the twilight was slowly conquering the serenity of the dusk. While having fun seeing them, I sometimes wished I was a bird, so I can freely travel the zenith of the sky and see from the top the beauty of the earth's landscapes. As I grew up, those birds I joyfully watched have gradually vanished. That time, nobody answered my why those birds were slowly vanishing before my young eyes.

I learned it from my high school days that some of the birds have been migrating from one place to another, trying to shield from the unknown dangers brought about by both human and nature. Now, I rarely see birds not even in my province! You can see few but not a flock of birds in the sky. Thanks god, Internet has provided me the birds I missed to see.

Stop killing birds!!! Let the next generation see them freely flying!

Myanmar government reported 10,000 people killed by the recent cyclone that struck the country. As of today, the government is still collecting information as to how many casualties were victimized by the typhoon.

Let us pray for the souls of the typhoon victims. The havoc that hits Myanmar (former Burma) is a natural disaster. Yet, we can say that people have something to do with it. Why? Of course, heavy rains will surely pour down during typhoons, which may result to floods. We all know that most of the flooded areas are those that have no proper drainage systems or no proper waste management system.

But why there are remote areas (provinces) that still susceptible to flood? These are the areas that illegal logging are continuously happening. Myanmar, might as well, belong to these areas. What can we offer now to the victims?....Yes, its not yet too late! we can still have options to save our mother nature.

It may not interest you much because its not about romance, its not about crisis, its not about high-tech gadgets! But, I guess its the most important concern that we must give attention to. It takes no environmentalist or environmental experts to care for our mother nature.

From this, i will try to discuss with you guys important topics about environmental degradation, global warming, and sorts of oddity of our environment. I will try also to define what a nature is, by providing you pictures and even moving photos of our environment.
